Dancing With The Stars: Down To Four

Going into this week's Dancing With The Stars results show, five couples remain. Whose time is up and will be leaving the show?

After the dance show on Monday, Helio & Julianne were atop of the leaderboard with 57 points and Mel & Maks were in second place with 56 points. Cameron & Edyta were ranked next with 51 points and Jennie & Derek were right below them with 50 points. Bringing up the rear, Marie & Jonathan had 49 points.

Was there any doubt in who the judges would want to see in the encore dance? I know who I wanted to see. It was Helio & Julianne dancing the best quick step the judges say they have ever seen on the show. They did just as well this time around as they did on Monday night's show. They look so good together!

After Gloria Estefan's Latin number and the audience reaction to Monday's performances, they announced that Marie & Jonathan were safe. What a freaking joke! Well that's not what I really said out loud. There were some more profanities thrown around too but, well, you get the drift.

Fluff. Fluff. Jimmy Kimmel with Guillermo segment. Fatima Robinson, a choreographer, dancing hip-hop with her group of dancers segment. The professional dancers and when they began dancing segment. Gloria Estefan singing "Conga" segment. By the way, I could swear the dancing routine was the same for "Conga" as it was for "Rhythm Is Gonna Get You" but I'm probably wrong. Fluff over.

Helio & Julianne join Marie & Jonathan in their "safehood". After yet another commercial, Tom Bergeron announced that they won't reveal the bottom two again this week. Whatever. Mel & Maks are safe! Yay! Either Jennie & Derek or Cameron & Edyta will be leaving. Silence please. Cameron & Edyta are going home. Cameron quipped he won't know what to do with himself now that he'll have all this free time on his hands (not traveling back and forth from coast to coast constantly) and Edyta told him she never thought he'd make it this far. How sweet Edyta.

This is the way I knew it would go down. Marie would get all the sympathy votes and it would be either Jennie or Cameron leaving. Well, I really liked Cameron but he's no Helio or Mel so I guess it's fine. I wonder if Marie & Derek will wind up winning this thing.

Next week, it's time for semi-finals and the four remaining couples get to perform their favorite ballroom and Latin dances. That will be fun to watch and I can't wait!

Funniest part of the show was when Tom Bergeron made a crack "you can really tell the writers are on strike" as he was making those ridiculous statements about each couple when he revealed who was safe.
You totally could tell, the dialog was nowhere near as smooth, you could tell with both Tom and Samantha.

But Tom is really funny and good at making fun of the situation.
I enjoy him as a host.

I had a feeling Marie would be safe, and Cameron would go home.
I feel badly for him, he really seemed to love it and he seemed like such a sweetheart.

We all know Helio and Julianne are going to win.
Marie may beat out Jennie and Derek but she wont beat out Mel and Maks or Helio and Julianne.

Its going to be Mel and Maks and Helio and Julianne in the finals.
I would love to see Jennie and Derek, but I just dont think its going to happen. I will do my part and vote for them only though.

I like Marie, and shes had a rough season with her fainting and her Dads sudden passing, so I dont mind her still around.
Its probably helping her mentally alot.

You pretty much knew that Marie would be around yet this week. I really like and admire her and her attitude. But... correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought this show was about the best dancers moving on. She is not in the same league as the others.

I felt bad that Cameron was the one to go this week. So now we only have one guy left. I do think if things boil down to the best dancers it will be down to Mel and Max, competing with Helio and Julianne. If that is the case, I am pulling for Helio, simply because his Job does not contain dancing - Mel's does, and that gives her an unfair advantage.

Thanks for being there HD.

Someone said on another message board that now Marie's son has gone to Rehab. Any one heard this? So hoping Jennie makes it to final two, but it is doubtful. I just believe Marie O. will take it all this year.....geaux LSU.

The Judges dancing as elves. Sorry, this is silly beyond belief, but kinda hilarious.

Seeing Bruno tell Len "No Lifts" while they are all in elf gear . . .
