Sister Christian

Ni hao!

It's Night 6 at the Fei Long camp and they're trying to sleep. Unfortunately for them, JR is snoring and tossing and turning and snuggling and hogging the bed made of bamboo. The girls are creeped out by his snuggling and trying to avoid sleeping next to him. I would be too!

Day 7 starts with a fight over meat from a single crab at Fei Long and another hissy fit from Dave at at Zhan Hu. Thank goodness it's time for the reward challenge. I'm really tired of hearing about Dave's fireplace.

The reward challenge is another really physical one. Three-on-three combat while on little boats connected by a couple of walkways. Men versus women. To win a point for your team, you have to push the other team into the water. The first team to receive three points wins comfort - kerosene, a lantern, rope, pillows, a blanket, and a big tarp. First round was women versus women and Zhan Hu scored their first point easily. The next round was men versus men and Fei Long received their first point. It went on exactly like that until the fifth round where once again the women from Zhan Hu prevailed. Finally, Zhan Hu wins its first challenge. Because they won, they also get to kidnap a member from Fei Long and settle on Leslie. Jeffypoo gives Leslie her scroll to open in private once at Zhan Hu's camp.

At ZH's camp, Leslie tells them she's happy and thinks their team has good morale. Leslie gives up some basic gossip about Fei Long while they're bathing and swimming a little bit later. Over at Fei Long, James and JR are off talking about who they want to go next and doing a little bashing of Sister Christian and the anorexic stick girl. In other words, they're talking about Leslie and Courtney. But, they don't realize that Todd and Courtney are overhearing every word they're saying. JR really should have kept his mouth shut when it came to saying he wanted to win a million dollars and some ass (from Courtney). Courtney, you should go build a bed for the females and stay away from JR. haha

At Zhan Hu, Leslie opens the tube given to her by Jeff. She decides to return the favor and give the clue to Jaime. Both of them say they feel they can trust the other. Jaime receives the same clue that Leslie received last week and also receives a second clue as to the whereabouts of the hidden immunity idol. "Waste no more time searching the ground, towards the heaven for what will be found." Jaime thinks it's something right in front of her face (and it is) but can't figure it out yet.

Immunity is up for grabs! Each team will have four choppers and two puzzle builders. The choppers each have to cut through a wooden beam to reveal a rope that then has to be chopped which will in turn drop wooden discs to be used in the puzzle building part of the competition. Fei Long decides to put Courtney in the #1 chopping position and was it a big mistake or what? Zhan Hu finished all of their chopping and started working on their puzzle by the time Courtney finished her chopping. But then, what could you expect? She only weighs about 50 pounds and could only get a chop in every minute or so it seemed. Finally, Courtney finished and the other choppers of Fei Long made quick work to get to the puzzle part. It wasn't enough though and Zhan Hu won their first immunity challenge. Fei Long will be going to tribal council for the first time this season.

Back at camp Fei Long, Courtney's hands are hurt and she says her shoulder is too. JR thinks common sense should prevail and one of the weakest women should go home (Courtney or Leslie). Leslie tells the group that she told the other team that Aaron was their leader (LOL) and also tells them about how she told them more about their tribe. The others are kinda upset about that and Aaron says he can't trust her. Meanwhile, Amanda and Todd want JR to go home and try to convince Aaron of that but Aaron doesn't want JR gone just yet. It's between JR and Leslie it seems.

At tribal council, JR tells Jeff that Courtney and Leslie are the weakest on their tribe. Courtney said she's sick of them talking about how weak she is. JR says they're playing for a million dollars and feelings will get hurt. Leslie then talks about how good the morale is on the other team and how they play with heart and her tribe doesn't. Leslie, I don't think you should have said that.

Alas, Leslie is voted out by a vote of 5-2 with the other two votes being for JR. Jeff tells the remaining Fei Long members that it seems like they need to have more fun and better utilize each person's strengths. Wise words Jeffypoo.

Next week, Courtney and JR get into it. Sherea blows her cool with Dave. And both tribes get a lesson in the art of war.

Leslie says she's proud of herself. She knew that she would be there as long as God wanted her to be. She had a great time and would do it all over again.

What did y'all think about Leslie going home this week? Does anybody else think Dave and JR could be long lost brothers? Do you hope Jaime finds the hidden immunity idol?

Leslie is just plain stupid. She tried saying that their team lost the two challenges because they lacked heart. Uhh ... not so fast my stupid friend. Her and her two female buddies got their butts kicked on the boat, not even posing a remote challenge for the smaller, but stronger team. PG kicked Leslie's behind. Then, in the immunity challenge, the skeleton could not operate a sword and cut through a rope. Yeah, it must have been heart. What a fool.

hi hd!

you tell me why in the hell they didnt vote of stick girl? that just doesnt make sense to me! but then again its survivor :)

I have no idea Jude! I thought it was rather stupid myself. Leslie was more productive than Courtney was in everything. Maybe not by much but more than stick girl.

Actually I was thinking they should have voted out Todd the leader of the "little people"

one more thing....

when courtney was waving the machette (sp?) around she reminded me of shelly duval in "the shinning" LOL

I am unable to understand either why they did not get rid of Courtney. She looks like a walking skelton and is no help.At least Leslie had a little meat on her bones. Seem like a very stupid move. I really want to see JR go he is getting on my nerves.

I agree about them not getting rid of stick girl...seems like a stupid move on their part. Why in the world did they even make her go first in the challenge? They should have brought in the heavy hitters first!

Todd's position was, keep her around because she can't win anything and maybe the others agreed.

I really was hoping they'd get rid of Jean Robert but that's just a personal preference.

But as far as getting rid of Leslie, duh! Did anyone on the team not think about how she received another clue to the hidden immunity idol when she was kidnapped? They just flushed that little tidbit down the toilet so to speak, even though she did share the first clue w/ Todd.

I have not watched survivor much over the past few years, but I am guessing Leslie's other team members could have benefitted from clues about the hidden idol at some point?

Nobody but Todd on that tribe knows that Leslie got a clue to the immunity idol. I think the tribe made a wise decision. Leslie didn't seem to realize that it was a bad idea to talk about her tribe to the other side. I'd like to see either Dave, Todd, or Courtney go next, depending on who wins immunity next week. I don't think that Todd's tribe realizes what sneaky little brat Todd is yet, though.

When women go on a show like Survivor and boo hoo because they were snuggled up to by the men, I get the impression that they are stuck up b*tches. I don't think JR was trying to be offensive when he was sleeping; he was just trying to stay warm. JR was a bit deluded about getting a piece from Courtney, though.

I think Todd is stupid to try to get rid of strong players on his team. When tribes merge, it's the strongest players that are the first targets. JR does come through in the challenges. However, Todd's alliance with Amanda and Courtney could take him quite a ways.

What was with Dave getting naked? It's not like he was wrestling with the girls. I can't stand that guy. They should have gotten rid of Dave last week.

The only reason for Leslie getting voted off was because of her faith (imho). The weakest was definitely Courtney and that team made a big mistake putting her as lead on the challenge. I agree that Leslie s/h kept her mouth shut-- but chalk that up to being a honest Christian (nothing wrong with that). I also agree that there was no good reason for Dave getting naked. Was he afraid of messing up his clothes?

I think the reason the tribe kicked Leslie off was because she was stupid enough to tell them that there were 3 other Christians on the other tribe. In their minds that was a 4 person alliance just waiting to take over at the merge. I actually think it was a smart move on their part to get rid of her.

If you are going to have any chance in this game you have to play at least 4 steps ahead of everyone else and the smart ones think about the post merge times and who they will be facing then. Keep the big strong people until just before the merge and then try to dump them just before merge and you have the best chance. I think they were smart to keep the anorexic one. There are some challenges where it is very helpful to have a tiny person around... such as ones where they have to carry people on stretchers, etc. And she obviously won't be eating them out of house and home, will she!!!

I think Leslie was praying and preaching more at her camp than was shown on TV. This is based on the comment that James made about those who pray more.

The other factor was her big mouth. Aaron seemed to be really angry about Leslie's talk with the other tribe and he introduced the idea of getting rid of her.

Sleeping together for warmth is one thing, but obviously JR is doing everything he can to make the women uncomfortable. He also thinks his warmth is more important than anybody else's comfort. Watching him chasing the women around the bed was downright creepy.

I think getting rid of Leslie was a good move right now. But I do want to see either Courtney or Todd be the next to go from this tribe. Courtney adds nothing to the competitions and Todd is just a bit too whiney for me! Some of the comments made by them when talking to the camera alone makes me wonder if they've ever seen the show before! Did they know what they were getting into? After the two of them are gone, I'm not sure who I want to see go, but for now they need JR...they need the strength in the challenges. If this tribe can come back and start winning, the other tribe will be diminished enough where there shouldn't be any big worries about alliances with them at the merge. The others will have to allign with those left on Fei Long in order to survive.

On Zhan Hu, I'd like to see Sherea or Dave be the next ones to go. I know they both bring strength in the challenges, but I don't know...there's just something about both of them that rubs me wrong...can't put my finger on it.

Next week should be interesting.

I can think of only one reason for Dave to get naked. Maybe he was hoping that his male opponents would be so put off at the thought of having Dave's business right in their faces that they would not even want to touch him. I think I would have given up right then and there.

OK so NOW I understand why we have disease, war and poverty around the world.
Bc God does not have time to deal with that bc he is too busy watching over the Leslies or the Jamekas on reality shows!!

I feel bad for Leslie bc she seems like a nice person, but definitely her big mouth got her voted off.

She unnecessarily shared too much info, like telling Todd about the idol, telling her tribe about the Christians on the other tribe etc...

I dont really like John Robert either, but I want him around bc I am curious as to his mindgames/strategy being that he is a pro poker player.

Courtney is just gross, and not just her looks, her attitude sucks even more.

I agree with the previous poster on Dave's nakedness. I think he did it to distract the other players and also bc he thought maybe guys would not want to wrap themselves around him etc.. and he maybe thought it would give him an edge.
It did not work, but I get why he did it and it was a good try.

Please somebody give all the guys some shorts. The bulges are very distracting...(shamefully lol)...even little bitty Todd. I am really loving this cast because it appears that most are thinking through their moves. Even the whiny ones have game! Except Leslie, which was her demise. She just talked too much. She gave them ammo to feed their speculations, especially when they have nothing more to do than 'strategize.'

Speaking of which, I bet 75 cents that Todd and Aaron have a secret alliance..they understand the game a little to well not to notice the other.

I need for James to remain as quiet as he did at TC. He is coming across as pompous in his side bars.

Some thoughts and musings:

What is it with Christians and Burnett/CBS reality TV? I can't figure out if they are pandering to the RR demographic for ratings or mocking religion. Enough. Please Stop!

-Leslie doomed herself by blabbing and babbling. Todd calling Leslie "mom" creeped me out...he's known her what a week? Talk about needy.

-I love how Peih-Gee got Leslie merrily yakking away...she's way sneaky, a fact that wasn't lost on Fei Long.

- Will Todd figured out the HII ? I love that it is in plain sight. A hat tip to the "Big W" in "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World"?

-Aaron and Dave are essentially the same personality types, Aaron just disguises his control freakness better. He may be revealing his strategy too soon in the game as Amanda visually reacted to Aaron saying that Leslie might have divided loyalties at the merge and running numbers in front of the tribe. Aaron is not a poker player.

-I agree that Dave used the "Hatch" ploy to put the guys off in the wrestling comp and Aaron got a face full of Dave's junk which was hilarious.

- How ironic that the next challenge after Fei Long evicted Ashley was wrestling!

-IMHO-Zhan Hu blew it by sitting out Courtney & Todd in the reward and being forced to play them in elimination. Dumb move cuz the EC and maintaining numbers is by far the most important and it turned out that they had no chance against the mighty Sherea anyway....that Girl got game and a Stupendous bra. I can't wait for her to seriously get in Dave's face.

- JR is a major jerk; "nuff said. I was disappointed that James acquiesced to JR's disrespectful trash talking Courtney and Leslie, although he weakly defended Courtney's work ethic. He may have thought it was a go along to get along move, and he obviously doesn't have people skills, but he came off really bad in the edit.

-James made a good point about none of his tribe doing research on survival. I loved his "Crocodile Dundee" remark. :::snerk::::

- I am so over the rain... it's becoming really tedious. Change please.

I agree, JR is creepy. and Why on earth didn't Sherea bring a swimsuit or something, I'm so over seeing her bra at every comp. Good blog, and thanks for the comment page. Love seeing others views. Good job

sandic said:

Sherea could have brought a swimsuit, but obviously wasn't wearing it when the game started. Remember, they only could keep what they were wearing.

Am I the only one that is tired of Jiffy Pop aka Jeff Probst?

He has, at least in his mind, become way too much of an expert on the game of Survivor and by extent has become way to cocky.

You'd think one of the survivors would at some point tell him to fock off.

Lynn said:

Definitely sad to see Leslie go, but it probably for the best. I agree with everyone that Courtney should have been the one to go. Her performance at the immunity competition was awful!
