Kiss From a Rose
I don't know whether to be happy or sad that tonight will be the last night that Drew Lachey's hosting Dancing With the Stars. Regardless, Samantha Harris will be back next week. I guess I'll have to deal with it eh?
After the obligatory recap extravaganza Jennie & Derek were the couple chosen to dance again tonight. And dance they did. I thought they did even better than last night - if that was possible. Very flashy indeed!
The first two couples pronounced safe tonight? Jane & Tony and Jennie & Derek will be advancing.
Oooh Seal is performing tonight. And he's performing one of my favorite songs of his - 'Kiss From a Rose'. That song certainly brings back memories for me but if I continue along that track we'll be here all night long.
The next two couples that are safe are Marie & Jonathan and Mel & Maks.
It's time for Billy Ray and his daughter, Miley, to perform. Interesting. Not great. Not bad. Just interesting. Oooh! Seal is back and singing a song called 'Amazing'. Not too bad. Did anybody catch his wife, Heidi Klum, in the audience tonight? I absolutely can't wait for November 14th. If you have to ask why you should be taken out back behind the barn or possibly the runway.
After an interesting orchestra segment (did you know the first time they hear their orchestral arrangements are on Monday and they only get ten minutes to work it out?), Tom announced the next two couples that are safe. Are Wayne & Cheryl among them? Nope. Sabrina & Mark and Cameron & Edyta are the newest additions to the couples returning next week.
Enough with the stalling. Helio & Julianne are safe. Mark & Kym are safe. It's now down to Wayne & Cheryl and Floyd & Karina. One of those couples will be leaving DWTS tonight.
Ahhhh, Wayne & Cheryl will be leaving. I'm happy about that. I'm not happy about the music they danced to in their 'last dance'. After hearing 'Bad Day' umpteen million times during American Idol, does anybody really need to hear it again much less see Wayne & Cheryl dance to it? I think not.

So glad Wayne is outta there,but some more need to join him soon. Enough with the sympathy vote now, lets recognize the good dancers! There are some good ones this time around. Mel B. is hot, and of course Max is the hottest. Sure like Jennie Garth and I have voted for her each week. She has improved a lot. Really enjoyed Drew, well here comes "sam" back.....
Thank God Wayne is gone!
Wayne seems like a very nice man, but he should have gone last week, not the model, but we can't always get what we want. And frankly, I don't know what is wrong with the aging stars that think they need to have so much work done on their faces that it looks plastic and fake. It is not a good look folks! And no one is fooled into thinking you are young again. Oops, got on a little rant there - sorry. Thank goodness we can move on from that now.
I'll miss Drew, but I guess when you are just filling in, it has to come to a close. I thought the majority really did step it up a notch again this week.
It was interesting hearing how the music is handled.

I too am a Seal fan, and Kiss has been my fav song since he very first time I heard it..I actually teared up.He was great...and probably the only reason I stayed tune for the whole episode. The recaps are really hard to watch, because sometimes Bergeron is dry. Lachey did get a few good jabs in last night!
Im not sure why you referenced 11/14, but I can assure you that that date is the greatest date on the calendar! It will certainly be a milestone for me, but please share why else should I be excited that it is only 34 days away? What am I missing?
When I mentioned 11/14 I was referring to Seal's wife Heidi Klum who hosts Project Runway which starts on 11/14. :)
