Closed Campus
With all of the teams still in the elimination room after Patty's exit, The Biggest Loser begins with the teams being told that the campus is closed! Cue the shocked looks. It's closed because they're all going to Negril, Jamaica!
This will be a lesson to them all that they can go on vacation and still keep up their weight loss regimen. They don't have to eat the greasy foods at the buffet or drink all the fruity alcoholic drinks that have umbrellas in them. Jez from the black team really butted heads with Jillian, their team's trainer, on this one. Her words? "The desire to let loose has brought them here."
Let's work out! Kim leads the red team in a workout in the pool. Bob takes his team out for some yoga. Jillian takes her team to the beach for some old school training in the sand.
The challenge was an interesting one that I'm not sure I could have even done. Each member of each team had to be towed to shore by one of their teammates that were onshore. The catch? The member being towed couldn't sit down in the air raft. They had to stand and balance similar to surfing. The black team really kicked butt in this challenge and they won a massage. It didn't seem to me that the red and blue teams took this competition too seriously.
Jillian makes her black team work out one last time before they get their massages. While the black team is getting their massages, Kim and Bob are leading their teams in their last chance workouts. Nice product placement for Nabisco! I love those 100-calorie snack packs too.
It's time to weigh in. The black team lost 39 pounds (2.41%), the red team lost 42 pounds (3.25%), and the blue team lost 33 pounds (2.83). The red team won the weigh-in! The black team is going to have to send one of their members home for the first time this season.
There could have been a tie but in the end there wasn't. Jim, one of the twin brothers, was sent packing. He was shocked but he understood that it is just a game and really wants to shock everybody at the finale with his fantastic weight loss.
As shown in his 'back at home' segment, if he keeps it up he most certainly will shock everybody. He has lost 69 more pounds since leaving the show and has lost a total of 123 pounds to date. Way to go Jim!
It seems next week there's going to be some trainer drama. Yummy.
