The Winner of Big Brother 8 Is

In the end, I think out of Dick's 5 votes, 3 of them (I don't count Eric because his vote was forced- and I think Jess' vote was because more of dislike of Danielle despite what she said) were because of gameplay and not emotionally, which was good (otherwise Dani would have probably won 6-1). Jen was not going to vote for Dick in any case-and I think Jameka was ticked because Dick belittled her faith.

The AP reveal-meh. Notice they didn't do the woobie or the kiss vote-nor did they tell them about the $40K Eric won (I suspect he told them during the commercial). Eric's vote being put in first meant that it was moot anyway (but they wanted to show what the audience vote was). If Eric's vote had been LAST, they would have meant it was 4-3, and that was the only way I thought Dani could win after the jury questions. Dustin was the key vote in the end-if he had voted for Dani, I would suspect he might have talked Amber into voting for her because Dick was worse than Dani was as a whole. Didn't happen and there was the 5-2 vote.

I'll be extremely interested to see what happens now that the interview ban is lifted-are they gonna throw Amber to the wolves or not (for her own mental stability-I hope they get her out of LA ASAP).

At least Jen is out of the nuthouse (notice at the end of the show, she didn't go to D/D- she went to Carol and Kali), and we hear good things in the future from Jen. If not and she decides to slip back into anonymity, I wish her a happy and contented life.

Well, Kid Nation is tommorrow...let's see if the show lives up to the hype.

I couldn't be happier that Dick won!

I'm a little disappointed in the AP reveal. It was pretty anticlimactic. I was also shocked they didn't disclose the amount of $$ he won.

I hope I never hear about Jen again. Her stuttering eye-roll is about the most annoying thing I've ever seen. I won't miss Amber either.

i usually don't leave comments but i have to say the way the jury acted was childish!they acted like a bunch of little children that didn't win a game. they just needed to get over themselves and relize that dick and danille well deserved to be where they were-the final two.now do i approve of the way dick played the game with all his rants no- but the house had there chance to evict them and blew it.and amber with her attack on danille about the b/f situation talk about a hater! get over it!
