Hip-Hop In Your Cha-Cha
Have a female favorite yet in Dancing With the Stars? I do! Actually, I have two.
I really like Sabrina. Her and her partner got ragged on for too much hip-hop in their cha-cha last night yet they still walked away with the highest scores of the evening. Sabrina is one of the Cheetah Girls. I've never watched that show(?) but I've heard of it and know it's a big hit with the tweens. She'll have those votes for as long as she's on the show.
My other favorite is Josie Maran. She's a model that I've never heard of but seems to really be having a fun time on the show. Her and her partner received the lowest scores last night with their foxtrot so I hope she doesn't leave the show on Wednesday evening. I personally thought Marie Osmond was rather boring last night and Jennie Garth's performance was just okay.
Tonight, the guys dance and that's always a hoot to watch. I'm really pulling for Mark Cuban and Floyd Mayweather. Oh, and Cameron is hot.
Speaking of hot, I had to lower the thermostat in my humble abode last night when The Bachelor began. Crikey! Brad Womack is hot hot hot!
Of course, some of the girls had a teensy bit too much to drink and made complete fools of themselves. Besides that, none of the girls really made too much of a favorable impression on me. I'm going to have to watch them for a couple/few more weeks to determine who my favorite is.
And guess what? Brad has a twin named Chad who is every bit as hot as he is. It seems Chad will have a little role to play at some point this season by replacing his brother. Hmmm. Anybody know what the deal is with their dad?
Coming up in reality tonight is a two-hour The Biggest Loser which starts at 8:00 PM ET on NBC, a new episode of Beauty and the Geek at 8:00 PM ET on The CW, and another ninety-minute Dancing With the Stars (guy's night) also beginning at 8:00 PM ET on ABC.
My DVR is gonna get a workout tonight!

No favorite female as of last night, but found myself pulling for Jenny. Think just because of her pro-partner. He is awesome!
Did not care for the Sabrina as she was very reminisent of Monique(sp) of two seasons ago. Too much of a showboat trying to get her hip-hop across on a 'ballroom' comp. Want hip-hop, stay a cheetha girl and off a ballroom floor.
Jane Seymore was great for her age and Marie Osmond was just plain a bore!
Looking forward to tonight more than anything. Sure hope Pretty Boy Floyd and Cameron do us proud...
I liked the model,Josie, but I would say unless someone really bombs tonight she will be the first to leave. She doesn't have the fan base, and unforunately America won't give her the time to do what she needs to, get serious and get some strength... Too bad, she's cute and her partner deserves another shot at the title...
I did watch last night and liked Sabrina. Tonight Im looking forward to seeing the race car driver(Im a huge Nascar fan).
Sorry Hd the email address Ive been using is wrong the correct one is now listed.
From HD - No worries! And I'm a huge NASCAR fan also! :)
Ok, HD, if all the guys in Texas are as hot as The Bachelor, no wonder you live there!
DWTS -- no faves yet. I try not to become too attached to the girls because they always get voted off first.
The magic number tonight is 18. For Josie to have a realistic chance of staying, at least one of the guys has to get that number or lower. (That would probably mean she needs about a 0.5% advantage in the audience votes depending on the total points the men get-which is difficult, but doable. If no one gets below the 21 Marie and Jennie got last night, that means a 1.5% deficit to make up-which isn't, especially with 12 people to split the vote).
Wow HD, I totally disagree with you on DTWS.
My faves were Jennie Garth (maybe I am a bit biased bc of my 90210 nostalgia) I thought she would be stiff since in her interview she seemed so not confident, but she surprised me and I loved it.
Also my other fave is Jane Seymour.
56!!!!
Not only did she look amazing, but she danced with such class and grace, and I loved her.
Now onto the rest:
I liked Sabrina.
Shes confident with a capital C.
The other girls should learn from her confidence. She looks a bit too overweight though, it takes away from her dance talent. She reminds me of Mariah Carey lookswise.
Mel B was good but I wanted her to be great, and I thought she was not.
I like Marie Osmond.
I like her positive vibe and her energy, not the best dancer, but I like her energy on the show. Plus shes a great entertainer, which is what I also think Wayne Newton will be.
Josie Maran was terrible.
I expected her to be cute and bubbly from her interview but she was stiff and boring.
Also her horrible wink/twitch that she keeps doing bothers me. She thinks its cute but when she sees it, she will probably realize its a bit twitchy.
Cant wait to see Wayne Newton tonight.
I am glad he is paired with Cheryl Burke.
Curious to see Mark Cuban. Thats an odd one to be on this show.
If you didn't cancel your superpass when BB ended-Jess and Eric will be doing a chat on there tommorrow at 9PM Eastern-it might be interesting, because this is the first major interview Jess has done.....
My absolute favorite is Jane Seymour because of her grace and enthusiasm.
I really liked Jennie too... very ladylike and graceful and I never watched her on 90120 so I'm not liking her from that.
I didn't like Marie Osmond at all... something just didn't mesh in her performance for me.
I agree that Sabrina was very good but I don't think it is fair to allow these girls in who have a lot of dance experience even if it is a different type.
I thought Mel was forgettable.
I thought Josie was as close to having 2 left feet as any one on the show ever although Pauline last season came close. What is it about super models?
On to the men!
i love your posts, but you've lost that precious time to proofread your work. "her and" should NEVER begin a sentence. What you want is "she and.."
Mmmm, Helio. I was disappointed when I first heard the list of "dancers" this year, but now I think I might enjoy this season after all.
And I will definitely be tuning into RealPlayer tomorrow for that interview with Jess and Eric.
